Staff Accountant

Rooster Teeth is looking for a Staff Accountant to fill a key role in a rapidly-growing accounting and finance department, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting the accounting team close the financial period and producing the consolidated financial statements.

• Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements and support schedules
• Assist with procure-to-pay and inventory management process
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Banking, processing bank deposits, including cash management functions
• Assist with accounting functions related to our online store
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Prepare tax computations and returns

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years accounting experience
• NetSuite and Concur experience preferred
• CPA or future CPA candidates highly desired
• Excellent communication skills
• Exposure to YouTube, digital entertainment and the world of social media influencers a plus
