Summary
We need someone who can help us oversee the planning and execution of activity across our many social media and community channels. This position reports to the Director of Social and Community Marketing.
Responsibilities
* Manage the timing and execution of daily output on all social channels in collaboration with the marketing team and departments across the company * Develop and execute social strategies involving branded/sponsored content in collaboration with the sales team * Interacting with community via social media, responding to questions, comments and feedback * Working closely with Community Managers to enhance Rooster Teeth's presence and community engagement * Maintain open dialogue with community and influencers * Build and maintain daily social and editorial calendars * Lead development and production of original social content (videos, GIFs, infographics, live video, imagery, etc) * Analyze social media performance, engagement, and growth, and report findings to the team * Support social promotion for Rooster Teeth events and eCommerce
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of Social Media / Marketing experience * Expert level understanding and experience with social media tools and platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Tumblr, related third-party software, etc) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Extensive knowledge of Rooster Teeth channels, shows, history, culture, and voice * High attention to detail & organizational skills * Ability to develop, manage, and execute creative social media content and storytelling * Ability to manage multiple channels, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively
