System and Data Analyst

We are seeking a self-driven and highly motivated System and Data Analyst to be part of an Agile development team in delivering innovative IT analytics and visualization solutions enabling the client organization. The successful candidate will be highly driven, adaptable and customer focused. They must have the ability to write and present clearly to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences. They must also be able to work both as a team member and independently.

* Research existing applications, system data, business processes and constraints\. Conduct routine analysis of information gathered to correctly identify the problem/request and review with senior personnel as appropriate\. Assist in the development of alternative solutions to define boundaries of the problem/request and estimate effort\. Assist customers in clarifying routine requirements by reviewing business process needs\. * Translate routine business requirements from customers into written functional specifications\. Update existing specification documents\. Participate in the review of technical specifications to receive approval\. * Assist in the support of software applications and the development of training\. Perform routine system and customer support and develops communications materials to assist customers with relevant system activities\. Develop basic ad hoc reports and queries\. * Assist in developing test plans and scripts of moderate complexity to validate that system functionality meets business requirements\. Execute test scripts based on the test plan\. Document and communicates test results\. Support compliance standards for testing, approvals, migration and implementation\. * Compile relevant facts about customer issues and requests for presentation to business partners and process owners\. Support development of presentation material used in the change management processes\. * Work with project manager, architects, support organizations and management to ensure all commitments are met on schedule and on budget * Require flexibility, willingness and desire to fulfill multiple IT roles as needed with expected to also have direct interaction with internal customers, and are expected to drive, support, and document requirements definition as well.

* 8 years experience in developing IT requirements and testing * Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. * Previous experience working with an agile development team * Knowledge and experience with engineering graphics/data highly desired\.
