SharePoint Admin/Architect

* Client is looking for an Enterprise SharePoint administrator/ architect with a blend of technical and functional skills with respect to Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013, and prior experience with SharePoint 2007. * The mission is to be able to work with customer and team members at various levels to ensure deployment of high performance SharePoint environment which is scalable. * Provide high-level Enterprise and/or Systems architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. * Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. Develop strategy of systems and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advise on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. * Responsible for identifying and coordinating integration of system components, including hardware and software, into a finished system. * Responsible for comparison and documentation of on premises installation with SharePoint online (Office 365) and provide pros and cons. * Responsible for logical and physical diagrams, including data flows, develops capacity plans and threshold limits, and works with other analysts, including configuration, security, and development personnel, to ensure system development follows the planned architecture.

* The position requires 8+ years’ experience with Microsoft SharePoint on an enterprise level as a SharePoint Architect/ Administrator. * Candidate should have experience with Multi-Farm and Multi-Environment SharePoint installations. * 5+ years hands-on experience administering SharePoint 2010/2013 to include the following: installing and configuring large server farm topology – physical and VMware; applying patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates; creating, configuring, and maintaining Shared Service Providers to enable and enhance site search functionality; supporting DBAs and developers in deployment of SharePoint related solutions (e.g. custom web parts); * 3+ years of experience with Office 365. Migrating content from on premises to Office 365, SharePoint online. * 5+ years’ experience with the .NET Framework tools and the Web development environment * 5+ years’ experience with SharePoint solutions deployment across multiple farms and environments, including working knowledge of SharePoint Solution Package (WSP) creation. * 5+ years’ experience with SharePoint Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery using both native features and products like Metalogix, AvePoint and/or Idera. * 3+ years’ experience with SharePoint 2013 including custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Designer Workflow, and InfoPath
