Communications PR Internship

Frontier Communications is an S&P 500 company and is included in the Fortune 1000 list of America’s largest corporations. Frontier serves predominantly a mix of suburban, small/medium town and rural areas across the U.S.

* Include but not limited to all aspects of internal and external communications. Exceptional writing skills necessary for crafting event advisories, news releases, social media posts and content for various Frontier platforms and internal/external release. Creativity, curiosity to learn, an interest in sports and television production a plus. Will assist in implementing new marketing strategies for our partnerships, events/local engagement and community outreach. Actively participate in local engagement initiatives in collaboration with the marketing/communications team. Must be resourceful, a go getter and a service and product Ambassador for Frontier Communications. Frontier is seeking candidates who thrive in an exciting fast paced working environment and who will exceed expectations. * Additional skills a plus: PowerPoint, Shout let, Publisher, and Excel * Knowledge of the telecommunications industry a plus. * Ideally candidate can work 20 to 37 hours * Minimum of 20 hours per week.

* Students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Junior standing and above. Business, marketing, communication, minor in sports management or related discipline preferred. * Some work experience * Self-starter, goal-oriented, able to work with a high degree of autonomy and deliver measurable results. * The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals in terms of sales and customer satisfaction * Proficiency in MS Office products * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Superb time management and organizational skills * Someone who enjoys sports and sporting events.
