The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is made up of Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee; Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls; St. Joseph’s Hospital, West Bend; and more than 25 primary and specialty care health centers and clinics.
Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, this position will provide website development, maintenance and oversight for individual departments or programs. The Web Developer/Analyst will assist in conceptualization and implementation of design elements and ensure that websites meet usability requirements. The position will also assist in departmental assimilation of new software programs by training and serving as a resource for staff. The Web Developer/Analyst will be responsible to assist with larger scope projects as well as act as a resource for web related questions/concerns for internal customers. Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Three years of directly related experience is required. * Experience working with healthcare content, health technology or in the healthcare industry is preferred. * SharePoint experience is preferred. * Knowledge of computer/network principles at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology field or acquired through a combination of education and experience is required. * Demonstrated skill and proficient programming knowledge using Microsoft.NET technologies to develop secure databases and web based applications. * Demonstrated skill and ability to write programs using VB.NET/C# and SQL. * Advanced skills in working with databases using MSSQL. * Knowledge of server operation, maintenance and extensions and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to multiple platforms. * Skill in working with Web browsers, image-manipulation and databases, and other Web software tools. * Demonstrated skill and ability in the design of information systems through formal design techniques. * Experience using modeling techniques as a tool for application design and development. * Experience in reviewing and trouble-shooting code designs written by multiple developers, identifying incompatibilities and providing alternatives for improved design and performance. * Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, customers/clients, and members of the public. * Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
