Senior Internal Auditor

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is one of the world’s leading vertically integrated producers, marketers and distributors of high-quality fresh and fresh-cut fruit and vegetables, as well as a leading producer and distributor of prepared fruit and vegetables, juices, beverages and snacks in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. .

This position will be responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits. In this role, will also evaluate the procedures of internal control of the administrative and operational activities of the North American and Corporate locations.

• Perform financial and/or operational audit procedures as necessary, based on risk assessments as discussed and as documented in the audit programs.
• Interact with company personnel in the coordination of value-added solutions related to the Company’s internal control structure.
• Employ modern tools to allow and facilitate the obtaining of data and information from the databases and to tabulate and analyze the information based on audit objectives.
• Participate in audit procedures as may be required in order to assist the External Audit process.

Minimum Skills Required:

• 4 year College Degree (Accounting) from an accredited institution.
• 5-8 years experience in public accounting or auditing.
• 3 years of current audit experience.
• 0-1 year’s supervisory and managerial experience.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or candidate for these or other audit related certificates.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent business communication skills (i.e. oral and written).

Preferred but not Essential:

• Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Degree.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.
