Senior Internal Auditor

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is one of the world’s leading vertically integrated producers, marketers and distributors of high-quality fresh and fresh-cut fruit and vegetables, as well as a leading producer and distributor of prepared fruit and vegetables, juices, beverages and snacks in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. .

This position will be responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits. In this role, will also evaluate the procedures of internal control of the administrative and operational activities of the North American and Corporate locations.

* Perform financial and/or operational audit procedures as necessary, based on risk assessments as discussed and as documented in the audit programs. * Interact with company personnel in the coordination of value-added solutions related to the Company’s internal control structure. * Employ modern tools to allow and facilitate the obtaining of data and information from the databases and to tabulate and analyze the information based on audit objectives. * Participate in audit procedures as may be required in order to assist the External Audit process.

**Minimum Skills Required:** * 4 year College Degree (Accounting) from an accredited institution. * 5-8 years experience in public accounting or auditing. * 3 years of current audit experience. * 0-1 year’s supervisory and managerial experience. * CPA, CIA, CISA or candidate for these or other audit related certificates. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook). * Excellent organizational and leadership skills. * Excellent business communication skills (i.e. oral and written). **Preferred but not Essential:** * Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Degree. * Bilingual: English and Spanish.
