Summary
Framebridge is an online custom framing business located in Washington, DC. We are revolutionizing the way people frame their favorite art and photos by making the entire process easy, affordable and hassle-free. Framebridge uses technology to improve the custom framing experience through quick online ordering, lower prices and always-on customer support. Framebridge is a company built on stories. We are lucky enough to frame vintage family photos, marathon race bibs, early product sketches and patents, and baby footprints every single day. We are uniquely positioned to share these stories with an engaged community that’s looking for them. But that’s not all—we have an opportunity to emerge as a thought leader in art, interior design, tech and lifestyle circles, as well. We are seeking an Editorial Lead to develop these stories, designs and ideas into rich content and aggressively manage it across publishing channels, always with an eye for growth. We’re a fast-growing company, and we need to manage against tight deadlines and constantly-evolving priorities. It’s a BIG job, and one that’s critical in shaping the company’s future.
Responsibilities
- Work with Marketing and Creative leadership to develop and manage editorial calendar against company priorities - Assemble and manage team of outside content contributors - Maintain and continue to evolve Framebridge's tone and voice - Produce and adjust content for different distribution channels, tailored to different growth needs and strategies - Monitor performance of all content, constantly adjusting strategies to improve performance without sacrificing quality - Constantly test new ideas, formats, designs, and keywords to refine content for scale **Conceptualize Shareable Original Content Ideas and Work To Bring Them To Life:** - Write, research and produce thoughtful, engaging stories yourself - Develop, adjust and publish content for blog, web, social and external channels - Edit all pieces (including your own!) for content, tone, voice and language - Manage team of external contributors, defining content requirements, managing deadlines, and editing pieces for publication - Source and/or create visual assets with Photography team
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years’ experience in fast-paced editorial, editorial production, or social media role - Very strong writing and editing skills—you’ll be editing your own work along with contributions from others! - Confidence in writing measurably engaging content—SEO, content for syndication, clickable display copy, social media pieces, etc. - Experience concepting, packaging and editing content from other contributors - Incredible organizational and time-management skills - Experience with web analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics - Experience and confidence managing staff and freelancers - Strong interest in art and interior design
