Sanitation Associate

Four Seasons Produce, Inc. is a full-service wholesale produce distributor supplying Organic, Local and Conventional fresh produce and related products to Organic Markets, Food Co-Ops, Independent Retailers, Chain Stores, Juice Bars and other produce buyers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

DESCRIPTION:

Clean and sanitize facilities in order to maintain the highest standards of food safety and maintain compliance with HACCP programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and empty trash containers in warehouse, packing and warehouse product aisles daily, and outside trash containers as needed.
• Operate sweeper, scrubber, and pallet jack.
• Maintain and clean sanitation chemical storage area as needed.
• Use power washer for various waste containers, outside dock, waste trailer area and other facilities locations as instructed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and production areas according to OSHA and Four Seasons standards.
• Complete the required daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork for each assignment in a timely manner.
• Additional assignments as necessary.

• Ideally, a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with a variety of powered cleaning equipment
• Ideally, previous sanitation experience
• Must be 18 years old to operate equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
