Digital Marketing Specialist

(Los Angeles, California)Found Animals works with the animal well-being community to find and bring to market the ideas that keep animals everywhere safe and happy.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy and optimize email CRM campaigns (preferably in Bronto) for Found Animals programs and projects on an ongoing basis

Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Implement SEM campaigns (Google Grants/Adwords, Yahoo, Bing), update online directory listings (Google/Yahoo/Bing Local business listings, YP.com, etc.), and internet display advertising campaigns

Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

Implement A/B tests to optimize conversion tests

Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience and customer engagement through digital media

Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners when needed

Manage the testing process through our email service provider Bronto

Build and send email, manage email lists, segments and work flows

Responsible for being current on all direct marketing and email marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM compliance and applying that to direct marketing efforts

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in marketing or related field, MS a plus

2-4 years of increasingly responsible work in digital marketing
-
Demonstrable experience managing SEM campaigns, implementing and optimizing email campaigns, retargeting, social media advertising marketing and/or display advertising campaigns

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising direct digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels

Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

Experience using email marketing platform required; Bronto or MailChimp, Exacttarget or another top platform.

Experience in salesforce and NetSuite a plus

Magento or Drupal or Stack experience a plus

Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, Ema)

Working knowledge of PPC ad bid management tools (e.g., Kenshoo, Marin, etc.)

Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
-
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
