Senior C# C+ C Software Engineer

- Fluidigm is seeking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our vibrant interdisciplinary team to develop world class data analysis software products for single cell analysis, sequencing, genotyping, and gene expression applications. - Design, document, implement, and test/debug. Be an active member of the software development team, working with business, product, development, and QA teams across multiple office locations. - Manage multiple projects at one time, switching focus between projects as required to manage priorities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - B.S or M.S. in Computer Science or related fields. - 12+ years working experience in commercial software product development - 5+ years working experience in data analysis software development, preferably in life science industry. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Strong C#/C++ design, development and debug skills in Microsoft Windows environment. - Strong object-oriented software architecture and design. - Thrive in a fast paced work environment that requires independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. - Proactive and takes ownership for producing positive results. - Contributes as a valued team member and colleague with leaders at all levels. - Demonstrates personal self-awareness and desire for continual learning and personal development - Keeps commitments; exhibits candor and courage
