Retail Sales Operator

Flowers Foods (NYSE: FLO), headquartered in Thomasville, Ga., since its first bakery was opened by the Flowers family in 1919, is today one of the largest producers of packaged bakery foods in the United States. The company operates more than 40 highly efficient bakeries that produce a wide range of bakery food for retail and foodservice customers in the U.S.

Directs customer service and all retail sales outlet operations. This position is classified as hourly. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location.

- Inventories incoming product - Inventories stock to meet consumer demand - Maintains proper rotation and product freshness - Directs stocking of shelves to set standards - Maintains positive relationships with retail customers - Operates cash register and accurately maintains and records sales receipts - Maintains accurate records of inventories, etc. - Serves as Leadperson. - Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harrassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.) - Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

**Desired Experience** One or more years retail and/or customer service experience. **Desired Education** No educational prerequisite; however, must have demonstrated ability to read, write, perform basic math skills, and record information applicable to the job. Completion of formal management skills training program.
