FiveStars is looking for a Head of Design to lead our enthusiastic team of experience designers. We are rethinking the way customers connect with and support with their favorite businesses.

* Leading our talented team of designers to achieve their full potential, cultivating their talents and capabilities * Delivering a strategic and consistent end-to-end experience for our users throughout our complex product ecosystem * Infusing the product strategy and priorities with high impact, data-driven, user-focused initiatives * Crafting innovative design processes optimized for our young, agile, company * Collaborating with partners in product management, marketing, operations, and other roles to ensure our product offering reflects our business goals, product values, and brand

* Degree or certificate in design, psychology, or related field * 10+ years of experience design * 3+ years of management experience * Portfolio of design work that demonstrates design thinking and team collaboration, including demonstrated expertise with cross-platform, cross-device, and cross-persona design problems * Demonstrated design leadership and communication abilities with cross functional and multi functional teams * Demonstrated expertise in creative approaches to complex problem solving and the ability to help others craft this expertise * Expertise with a variety of user research methods; demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of various research methods * Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and roll with the punches in a fast-paced, always changing environment
