Summary

To complement our rapid growth, we are actively looking for a talented and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our SMB Account Management team. Five9 is a high energy environment with lots of room for personal and professional growth. The successful candidate is professional and highly motivated with the ability to function well in a fast paced, ever-changing inside sales environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage existing customer base of 200-300 customers through building and maintaining trusted relationships
  • Ability to remain calm and communicate effectively during difficult and/or high-charged situations
  • Exceed or meet monthly key performance indicators (KPI) and monthly quotas
  • Manage sales opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Track and manage opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM following Five9’s internal sales guidelines
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all assigned Five9 service offerings and system features
  • Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Represent a professional and positive image in all communications (e-mails, verbal, letters etc.)
Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ years of account management experience in a high tech environment
  • Demonstrated success in closing business via phone
  • Excellent presentation skills via phone, e-mail and web conference
  • Exceptional customer service/client retention skills
  • Ability to make sound independent business decisions
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • Well-versed in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Problem solving skills for variety of issues
  • Ability to make sound independent business decisions
  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Contact Center technology and terminology, Cloud-based offerings and VoIP
  • Experience and understanding of SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) applications
