Collections Specialist

Our headquarters is located in San Ramon, Calif. and we continue to expand globally. To complement our rapid growth, we are actively searching for a Collections Specialist. This individual is responsible for reaching out to customers to collect payment on overdue bills, processing credit card payments, and resolving discrepancies.

* Collect payments on past due bills * Issue dunning letters to overdue accounts * Call customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment * Set up repayment plans * Monitor the credit limit on prepaid accounts * Process the credit card payments * Reconcile disputed charges * Issue credit hold notifications for new orders * Response to billing and payment inquires * Recommend that accounts be sent to a collection agency * Recommend bad debt write-offs * Maintain accurate records about the customer payment status

* Three or more (3+) years of collections experience * Experience with billing systems * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must be detail oriented, with the ability to work independently * Associate’s degree in business preferred
