Responsibilities
* Solve complex engineering problems by building tools and testing frameworks * Design and build infrastructure tools to measure and increase engineering velocity * Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement efficient software design * Assist in the building of the next generation FiscalNote data validation architecture

You’re tickled by the idea of implementing inventive uses of older technologies, but even more revved at the idea of leveraging the most modern tools, frameworks, and languages. **You Have** * 2+ years of industry experience in all aspects of testing * Expertise in one or more of the following languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby) * Extensive experience designing and building automated testing frameworks * Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures and Object Oriented programming * Database management experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB * Excellent analytical thinking skills and attention to detail * Experience managing and deploying in a test environment * Growth-minded individual willing to take ownership and deliver outcomes * Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and triage engineering issues * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience with concurrency and multi-threading * Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (Preferred)
