Business Data Analyst

First American Title Insurance Company facilitates and streamlines real estate transactions by providing comprehensive title insurance protection and professional settlement services.

This is a great opportunity to work with an entrepreneurial minded team within the First American Data Operations organization. You will determine innovative methods to build a data quality review and content approval process that supports standard, custom and aggregated data deliveries to our internal stakeholders, products and clients. The ideal candidate has both a strong technical skillset along with a demonstrated passion for data accuracy.

* Conduct data quality reviews using various tools and methodologies. * Support the ETL team on testing new data logic and derived content, and provide data insight for ETL and IT development teams * Participate in projects involving new data aggregations and custom solutions. * Work with offshore support team that will be responsible for reoccurring fulfillments and/or QC processes.

* HS Degree, with BS preferred but not required * Minimum 10+ years experience working with public record data Experience with SQL and ETL tools * Experience performing data quality reviews and data gap analysis on county recorder content * Ability to enhance, edit and correct data content issues based on knowledge and experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interface effectively with product, development, data inquiry and data fulfillment teams * Ability to formulate conclusions and define next steps upon completion of a data quality review process
