The Controller will report under the strategic direction of the CEO and the tactical direction of the operational director. In this newly created role, the Controller will partner with the CEO and department leaders in strategic planning, effectively interpret and communicate data, and manage all day to day financial functions. The individual in the role will be responsible for finding opportunities to cut costs, enhance efficiencies, and plan for the future, while managing cash flows, projections, and reporting

* **Financial Planning & Analysis:** * Budgeting and Projections * Financial Statements and Valuations * **Bookkeeping:** * Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable * Cash Flow Management * Maintaining General Ledgers * **Employee Financials:** * Employee Payroll * Expense Management * **Projects:** * Cost-Benefit Analyses * Systems and Infrastructure * Best Practices Standards * Vendor Contracts * **The Resources:** * We currently use systems such as Quickbooks, Intuit, Bill.com, Nexonia, and of course, Excel. While these systems have worked for us, we also respect the Controller’s expertise in understanding both our business and the most effective resources and tools -- our philosophy is to build efficiencies in the areas that can be automated to free up our time and minds to think creatively and drive the business forward. * We also have a team with CPAs, Financial Planners, former investment bankers, and excel aficionados to tap the minds of.
