Lead/Senior Database Engineer

Looking for an experienced NoSQL Database Administrator with some prior experience using RDBMS such as Oralce, MySQL or SQL Server. The NoSQL databases include Couchbase, Cassandar and MongoDB. The person is expected to lead the team in technical designs, implementation and management of NoSQL databases in order to cope with challenges that can arise from different aspects of various projects such as large scale of the environments, complex requirements, and technology changes.

- Lead the team in setting up hosting standards for scalable NoSQL DB design, implementation and management. - Administrate, monitor, optimize performance and trouble-shoot NoSQL databases in all environments. - Closely work with Infrastructure teams, and DevOps to define best setup for NoSQL databases - Manage data life cycle working with product and engineering teams - Continually improve operational processes and procedures - Implement DBaaS for NoSQL DB

* BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience * Senior data expert and DBA with minimum 5 years of experience in database engineering, administration and support * Strong understanding of Couchbase or Cassandra architecture with working experience. * Strong working experience in Couchbase or Cassandra database administration activities and operations * Some knowledge in NoSQL data modeling experience * Experiences wth AWS * Programming experience in automation using non-scripting programming languages * 2+ years of production support experience providing 24X7 coverage
