Mopar Supply Chain System and Planning Analyst

The integration between Fiat and Chrysler dates back to 2009 after Chrysler filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization on 30 April 2009. On 10 June 2009, Chrysler emerged from the bankruptcy proceedings with the United Auto Workers pension fund, Fiat, and the U.S. and Canadian governments as principal owners.

The Mopar Supply Chain System and Planning Analyst position is within the Mopar Supplier Management group and will be the department champion for system application parameters, enhancements, fixes, and maintenance.

* Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and managing the implementation of system based solutions that will deliver sustainable process improvements leading to higher levels of supply base performance and customer service levels. * Lastly, the candidate will also be responsible for managing certain on-going supply chain processes that require technical and analytic skills. * The scope of responsibilities for this position includes. Obtain and analyze supply chain data, and understand base line processes in order to develop process/system improvement proposals. * Work closely with ICT as the department champion for all related system applications. (MARCS, PROMIS, Cognos, etc). * Maintenance of applicable user controlled system parameters, settings and tables. * Create professional PowerPoint presentations to present as required. * Training and communication related to systems and technical tools. * Build prototype reports/screens/tools to be used to communicate requirements to ICT or management teams.

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Applied Engineering, or other applicable discipline * Advanced skill level in MS Access, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint * Knowledge of supplier management processes, material releasing, material scheduling, supply chain planning, forecasting, and/or inventory management * Innovative problem solving skills, and keen process thinking ability * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior operations, planning, or systems support experience in Service Parts Supply Chain * Prior experience with Mopar system applications (MARCS, CHAMPS/CHIERS, PROMIS) * Prior experience in project planning and management
