Summary
The Supplier Capacity Management Specialist is responsible for resolving component capacity shortages to reduce the risk of production shortfalls at assembly plants.
Responsibilities
* This position requires strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to address capacity issues and implement resolutions. * Competency in many systems and interacting across several different functional areas will be required. * This includes internal areas such as Purchasing, Supplier Delivery Risk Management, Supplier Quality, Product Planning, Logistics, Global Convergence and Engineering, as well as working closely with external suppliers. * Leading cross functional projects and managing business case solutions will be required to resolve current issues and to proactively identify potential opportunities. * Creation and execution of risk mitigation activities using strong logic and problem solving skills will also be expected. * This position resides under Component Capacity Management & Production Scheduling.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree required * Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills * 3+ years of related experience **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong problem solving, analytical ability and presentation skills * Ability to work at a fast pace * Strong project management skills
