Summary
The Capacity & Option Planning (COPS) Manager will manage a group consisting of five analysts responsible for the option rate forecast system (COPS) and the part volume forecast (PVS) systems for the mid-to-long term horizon planning.
Responsibilities
* The ideal candidate will track, manage, and monitor system enhancements, monthly volume loads, and the publication of long-term volume forecasts. * The COPS Manager will be responsible for working and coordinating with other organizations such as: Long Term Volume Planning, Product Planning, Purchasing, Regulatory Affairs, ICT, and Engineering to ensure that the option rates and part volume forecasts are accurate. * In addition, the COPS Manager is responsible to implement various projects, including but not limited to: the development of performance metrics, process re-engineering, statistical forecast modeling, and the redesign of existing processes to improve sourcing and capacity planning accuracy for the mid-to-long term horizon.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field * Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and systems * Required proficiency in MS Office and MS Access with beginner to intermediate level understanding of databases systems and SQL * Excellent analytical and communication skills; capable of interpreting and presenting complex processes in a concise and logical manner to executive level audiences * Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or other related business function **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree in Business or related field preferred * Proven self-starter, problem solving skills, and effective team building skills * System knowledge: EBOM, STV, MDP, VBASS, COPS, EVP
