Summary
The Marketing Science team is seeking a Project Manager who is passionate about making business operations, tools, and processes more efficient and effective. Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements from cross-functional partners, recommending central processes/tools, driving alignment, automating workflows, and leading the implementation. Successful candidates will be responsible for scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end. They will collaborate across internal teams and act as central data-driven project managers leading alignment on and execution of operational processes, systems, and workflows for our regional and outsourced teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook have solid experience working with technical and analytical teams to produce ongoing efficiencies through stronger processes and automation efforts. This candidate will love to break down problems and propose solutions and will be used to working in fast passed environments with many stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Scope and deliver large projects end-to-end to improve productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of our teams. * Work with our cross functional partners to prioritize and execute against plans for automating key efforts. * Instrument and automate internal tools to increase efficiency across Marketing Science functions (Measurement, Insights & Auction & Delivery). * Improve operational workflows for our global teams. * Drive alignment and prioritization on the right processes, success metrics across cross-functional teams. * Develop, evaluate, and define metrics by which the program is measured. * Manage operational processes across several stakeholders and many different contributors global. * Identify & manage risks, monitor and triage issues. * Ensure detailed testing, documentation and training resources are created and stored for future use.
Ideal Candidate
* 4+ years of experience in business operations or technical product management * General understanding of marketing/advertising industry and related data structures * Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions * Ability to break down complex business problems into project plans leading to clear, comprehensive recommendations, processes and workflows * Ability to drive alignment on the right workflows, tools, and processes across different groups * Excellent communication skills * Experience leading cross-functional projects with dependencies and constraints * Track record of operating independently, solving problems creatively, and delivering results in a highly organized manner * Experience with SQL is preferred
