Summary
In this Infrastructure Project Manager position, you will have the opportunity to manage the closedown, relocation and uplift of an existing facility location. You will be responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project and meeting interim deadlines. Responsibilities
* Facilitate/conduct remote patch management, software distribution, operating system deployments, upgrades and network access protection. * Prioritize work and identify high risk critical problems and dedicate appropriate resources. * Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. * Provide network administrative support in network architecture and technical configuration management. * Assist in providing technical inputs to various system administration processes focused on access management and security. * Review current systems and make technical/process recommendations for improving efficiency. * Support strategic planning and development of recommendations for automation, process improvements and incorporation of new technologies specific to access management. * Create plans to assure effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems and/or networks. * Coordinate remediation activities between key stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and reporting tools.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required * 10 years of System Administration experience in medium to large enterprise systems managing access * Experience running System Center Configuration manager (SCCM) to manage patches, harden networks, inventory hardware and inventory software * Experience with and understanding of network framework OSI Model * CompTIA Security + Certificate preferred * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred * Experience with network scanning tools required * Superior communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people * Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of an organization * Excellent organizational and time/task management skills are required. * A polished, professional demeanor with good interpersonal skills.
