Dev Ops Engineer

* We are looking for a strong dev ops engineer to build our operations team. In this role, you will architect, implement, and administer our AWS-based infrastructure. In addition, you will lead development of tools that will help us monitor our infrastructure and proactively respond to issues before they arise.

- 2 years of experience as either a sysadmin or dev ops engineer - 1+ year managing a non-trivial system architecture in AWS - You have built reusable system configuration files, and are familiar with modern tools to do so (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Linux, Docker) - Focus on tool building to manage automation, monitoring, and alerts - Good instincts around building resilient and self-healing distributed systems - Preferable: expertise or a strong interest in security best practices and defense mechanisms
