Summary
We’re looking for a self-motivated and customer focused Sr. Financial Analyst to be our key finance partner for customer operations leaders supporting the Brand Expedia Group. As a key member of the GCO Finance team you will play in critical role in driving shareholder value by providing insight into financial performance through data-driven analysis, forecasting, and reporting of key operational and financial metrics. You will also be responsible for distillation of complex financial data into actionable information, managing financial models, analyzing new initiatives, financial planning, and analyzing operational metrics.
Responsibilities
* Partner with key stakeholders and senior leadership in the GCO and BEX Group organizations * Oversee GCO BEXG regional and/or brand P&L and provide insight into drivers of telesales revenue and service costs * Collaborate with business partners in development of forward looking trends including financial forecasting and Annual Plan, and identify and communicate risks and opportunities * Influence decision-making to ensure business partners meet the financial objectives of the organization. * Deliver actionable insights through monthly financial reports, quarterly forecast packages, trend/variance analysis * Develop and maintain financial models, perform ad-hoc analysis and scenario analysis to drive decision making * Support the month-end close processes and work with accounting to provide monthly accruals
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of relevant finance or analytical work experience * BA/BS degree in business, finance or related field; MBA preferred * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Strong qualitative, quantitative financial skills and strong spreadsheet, data-management, and presentation skills * Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes * Highly organized and detail oriented; able to work on and handle multiple projects within tight time lines * Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and understand key trends and levers * Strong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority * Strong attention to customer service; adaptable to different work styles and personalities * Familiarity with Hyperion Planning / Essbase or similar applications is desired
