Summary
Perform activities relating to designing, building, implementing and maintaining solutions and processes under the guidance of a Lead Analyst or Manager. Activities performed will be related to financial planning and analysis, department metrics, audit and compliance, and resource capacity management. May assist in the coordination of tasks for subordinates. Independence level: Works under general supervision.
Responsibilities
* Perform, document and assist in planning work activities relating to financial planning and analysis, department metrics, audit and compliance, and resource capacity management. Sub components of these items include monthly forecast/accruals/analysis, resource management improvements, development of department metrics and assessment of audit processes. * Maintain engagement with business and IT partners. * Assist with developing and maintaining team SharePoint site. * Proactively build business/IT knowledge around IT investments and ROI. * Utilize best practices to improve services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors degree and typically 3 to 5 years related experience in financial planning and analysis, metrics, audit, and resource capacity planning and analysis or equivalent combination of education and work experience. * Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred * Appropriate technical skills: excel, powerpoint, word, oracle financial tools. * Knowledge of business practices and processes in Information Technology and how it supports the Commercial Energy Business (retail and Wholesale) * Strong problem solving skills * Strong analytical skills (analyzing financial, resource data) and ability to spot trends and turn data into information * Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) * Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; respect for diversity
