Senior Mobile Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Our native applications power the event and discovery experience for both our attendee and organizer customers. We balance our development to meet the needs of our current customers, as well as pushing the bar on newer technologies to enhance the experience for both the organizers and attendees of any Eventbrite powered event.

As a Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will formulate, shape, build and iterate on the foundation for our automation testing strategy and execution. You will be responsible for educating the rest of the Mobile team on how to be conscious of automation and on how to write good automation tests, as well as driving the decision of what platforms we use. We want to set a high bar of quality, and you will be charged with facilitating this goal directly.

* Expert knowledge of iOS and Android Automation * Knowledge of using Appium or another cross platform automation framework * You know when to request hooks to facilitate automation effectively * You can explain your reasoning why a bug should (or should not) be fixed to the satisfaction of the most technical of developers and the most zealous of support engineers * You are comfortable explaining your work at all levels, and are able to provide others with valuable feedback * You have great ideas on how to enhance the software you test to improve efficiency * You want to work in an environment where you are expected to make a significant and visible contribution **Bonus Points:** * Experience using Sauce Labs * Experience using Appium * Experience with Python
