Applications Development Team Lead

Use your technical expertise to lead a team of world-class JavaScript and full stack developers and design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Our team builds advanced applications used by millions of users every year, from custom web apps that perform multiple functions to large applications for desktop and mobile that solve a variety of business needs.

* Plan, assign, and direct team activities in the technology and development required to create and maintain scalable web applications * Design and build advanced apps using the ArcGIS API and SDKs * Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale; support diverse clients from high powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices * Review and analyze existing applications and architecture to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of those applications; review and request development changes required to meet the objectives and needs of sites or applications * Provide hands-on JavaScript development assistance on a weekly basis * Orchestrate script testing plans and processes and assist in the release management process * Review performance of applications to ensure efficiency and documentation, as well as ensure that output meets the needs of the department * Serve as backup to the manager of Web Development

* Minimum of three years of experience in software development with team lead or manager responsibilities * Five years of professional development experience in JavaScript development * Experience in mobile application development * Bachelor’s or equivalent practical experience
