Summary
Responsible for maintaining the work order and preventative maintenance system by entering all work orders from all sub-departments into the work order system in a timely and accurate manner, and for generating appropriate end of month reports.
Responsibilities
* Answer calls and take requests for work to be done from residents and staff. * Enter and close all work orders and distribute to sub-departments. * Maintain the schedule for Facilities management and generate work orders through Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database software dedicated to managing the work orders associated with facility management (upkeep and improvement of campus infrastructure, which consist of buildings, grounds, housekeeping, etc.) * Organize and maintain the records and keep updated for billing purposes.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks at the same time. * Ability to communicate effectively and calmly to residents, visitors, and all levels of staff. * Ability to work with Director and Managers. Strong ability to use CMMS, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) computer systems to coordinate work order schedules. * Ability to work as a team player, multi-task, and must be customer service driven. **Education and/or Experience:** * High school diploma or GED. * Office experience and previous experience with specifically to working with the elderly preferred. * Understanding of facility type work that will be processed (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, grounds, etc.)
