Era Living is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to become the newest member of our Culinary Services team located in our Ida Culver House Ravenna Community, Seattle, WA.
The Sous Chef is a lead position in the kitchen, responsible for preparing and serving food, ordering, inventory and assisting with menu development. This position covers for the Executive Chef in their absence.
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience in high volume food service.
- Some flexibility in schedule and ability to work weekends.
- Current Food Handler Card and ServSafe certified (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Prior food service experience in hospitality or health care, preferred.
- Ability to pass DSHS and State background check, required.
