Summary
Era Living is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to become the newest member of our Culinary Services team located in our Ida Culver House Ravenna Community, Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities
The Sous Chef is a lead position in the kitchen, responsible for preparing and serving food, ordering, inventory and assisting with menu development. This position covers for the Executive Chef in their absence.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 3 years cooking experience in high volume food service. * Some flexibility in schedule and ability to work weekends. * Current Food Handler Card and ServSafe certified (or ability to obtain upon hire). * Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Prior food service experience in hospitality or health care, preferred. * Ability to pass DSHS and State background check, required.
