Responsibilities

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Manage and Maintain Daily Account Transactions

  • Receive, review and forward external correspondence from the Account Designated Representative (ADR) to appropriate operational group for processing.
  • External correspondence typically includes:
  • Applications/Transfer forms
  • Distribution paperwork
  • New investment requests and supporting documentation; purchase confirmations, fair market value, sponsor statements
  • When contacted about deficiencies, work with ADR to ensure that all deficiencies are re-submitted and cleared by operations and educate the advisor on processes to reduce future deficiencies.

Managing Institutional Advisor Interactions- Inbound/Outbound Calls

  • Provides service/support to ADRs on the following:
  • Products offered
  • Establishing an account, making an investment
  • Activities in process including investments, distributions and transfers
  • Education on prohibited transactions, investment options, and conference/webinar offerings
  • IRS Rules, Regulations, and Codes
  • Basic account inquiries - including assets and balances

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

  • Monthly business development calls to managed relationships
  • Attend regular meetings with partner teams; build internal relationships
  • Adheres to all Equity policies and procedures relative to attendance requirements, dress code, reporting expenses, and handling of company property

Qualifications

Essential Education/Training/Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Finance or related field
  • Prior sales or account management experience preferred
  • Proactive person who is results driven
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
