As an IT Software Development Lead, you will be providing technical and managerial leadership for a DevOps team focused on modernization and automation and will be supported by an enthusiastic and supportive leadership team. The IT Software Development Lead is essential to utilizing engineering and programming skills focused on enabling a DevOps model. The IT Software Development Lead position is responsible for working on building, automating, and supporting application and infrastructure deployment services that target our internal private cloud.

As part of the Global Platform Services/ Application Services team, you will be working on high profile projects on the leading edge of infrastructure technology. You will be a leader on high priority initiatives by developing new products, solutions and platforms, and supporting technology operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality. * Install, configure and maintain physical and cloud servers running Linux * Deliver repeatable, reliable systems using Chef * Configuration and change management * Document operations and provide run books * Lead and develop team from a technical and managerial perspective * Participate in and provide feedback on systems engineering and design * Streamline deployment of infrastructure into consumable services * Provide input on the future execution of the delivery and management of environments with a strong emphasis on automation, security, scalability and resiliency

* Knowledge of the Linux operating system * Strong understanding of Agile framework with experience in LEAN principles * Demonstrable cross-functional experience with Systems, Storage and Networking * Experience with virtualization technologies * Familiarity with software development methods and techniques * Strong knowledge of cloud, IAAS and service oriented infrastructure **Required Skills:** * Experience with configuration automation tools, preferably Chef but we will also consider Puppet, Ansible, Salt Stack, etc. * Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or Ruby * Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (DevOps) **Education :** * Bachelor's degree
