Visual Designer

Based in Oakland, California, Enlisted, creates innovative brand experiences for Fortune 500’s and small startups. As a dynamic team of strategists and designers, we are a collaborative studio with a focus on brand and packaging as well as digital and physical product development.

Enlisted Design is seeking Visual Designers to join our team of creative visual and product designers. The position will be largely focused on packaging and branding in various consumer industries. There are full-time/permanent and contract opportunities available.

* Contribute creative solutions for packaging and branding in various industries. * Demonstrate beautiful aesthetics and expertise in color, layout, typography and photography. * Map design recommendations to strategic objectives, key audiences, brand values and core messaging. * Function within a collaborative team and work under the direction of Senior Designers, Art Directors and Account Managers. * Possess basic photography, photo editing and color correction abilities. * Show competence in basic mechanical file production for smaller packaging projects. * Keep current on design trends and explore new approaches. * Possess an understanding and appreciation for project cycle processes. * Develop and maintain a consistent visual design language across a family of products. * Exhibit a proactive attitude and team-oriented approach to client projects and studio culture.

**Required qualifications:** * 3-4+ years of relevant agency experience. * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited design program in directly related field of study. * Mastery of industry standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. * Portfolio with demonstrated experience in branding and packaging. * Basic understanding of mechanical file production. **Desired qualification that will strengthen candidacy:** Experience collaborating and presenting your work directly to clients with support from senior Design staff and management.
