Responsibilities
- The Proposal Writer supports our Marketing Team in the creation and maintenance of company marketing resources/materials (SOQ’s, Form 330, Project Write-ups); proposals (RFP, RFQ); the screening and investigation of potential project opportunities; the compilation of basic marketing and proposal packages; and the coordination of other marketing-related projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications or Journalism (or equivalent). - High school diploma (or equivalent) required. - Two (2) years of experience leading the creation of and writing proposals (RFP and RFQ). - Strong editorial and proofreading skills, with exceptional attention to detail - Exceptional written communication skills. - Experience and/or Collegiate training in: - English language grammar, sentence form and structure - Writing, editing and proofreading - Writing for various audiences - Social media platforms - Proficient computer skills in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe programs. - Good analytical, organizational and planning abilities. - Good oral communication skills. - Ability to conduct internet research. - Ability to work independently or as part of a project team. - Ability to carry out written and oral instructions. - Ability to take direction from clients, management and co-workers. - Ability to work with a diverse group of people. - Ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines. - Ability to participate in multiple concurrent projects. - Ability to work overtime hours as needed. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
