Infrastructure Services Systems Engineer

The successful candidate must bring direct experience working IT infrastructure services. They will primarily support integration across the domains of data center services, enterprise management, cyber security, and user facing (desktop) services, as well as integration with the Joint Information Environment (JIE) and IC Information Technology Environment (IC ITE). Direct experience working more than one of these infrastructure services domains is desired to enable more effective service coordination and deconfliction. The candidate will work closely with contractor teammates and customer representatives to develop requirements documents and other acquisition documentation. They will engage across organizations to gather and assess relevant data, including HW/SW inventories, to ensure planned service work scope is accurately documented. They will conduct or participate in technical and programmatic assessments, applying “best engineering” practices to provide recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness of the services and supporting processes.

* Maintain knowledge of current technology and provide advice to the program leads on technology advancements * Participate in internal and external forums and develop recommendations relating to program direction and guidance. * Support and/or lead various technical meeting and boards, take and distribute minutes, as required. * Provide expertise in the management of risks (to include risk identification, quantification, and mitigation). * Provide expertise in the evaluation of IT service performance processes. * Plan and conduct studies and analyses required to support/identify long-term management and/or technical issues, as required. * Assist government program lead in monitoring and tracking program schedule, action items and discrepancy reports, create and maintain master schedules of projects. * Review Agency Enterprise and infrastructure portfolio requirements/documents/plans and other related items as appropriate, for consistency and compliance with the Enterprise documentation. * Collect and apply “lessons learned” across supported projects, as applicable. * Prepare graphics, reports, engineering data and analysis in support of Government directed studies, reviews, conferences and briefings, as required.

**Minimum Tangible Qualifications:** * Top Secret Clearance with SCI or TS/SCI * Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or related discipline. * 8 years experience in engineering or related field * 3+ years' experience working Infrastructure IT Services * Experience with two or more of the following IT Infrastructure services or initiatives: IC ITE, JIE, Data Center Services, Enterprise Managed Services, Cyber Security Services, User Facing (Desktop) Services * Familiarity with Agency and mission partner data and architecture systems. * Understanding of and experience with a managed services approach * Experience supporting GEOINT efforts * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Proficiency in MS Office suite **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working Pre-Acquisition program efforts * 1 to 3 years experience with the current Agency organizational structure, Acquisition policies, and ITIL processes. * Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities. * Experience in implementing managed services approach in a multiple service provider environment * Advanced degree in systems engineering or related discipline. * ITIL v3 professional certification. * PMP Certification
