Summary

This position is to support the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SPAWARSYSCEN Pacific), specifically Navy Air Operations Command and Control (NAOC2) systems.

Responsibilities
  • Test Engineering, network security, network operations and systems administration experience in support of TBMCS and JADOCS

  • Conducting security test and evaluation (ST&E) on supported systems.

  • Performing vulnerability scanning, assessments and patching of TBMCS, JADOCS, and CANES utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Retina.

  • Performing requirements review, test plan developments and reports.

  • Performing installations, configurations, integrations, and maintenance of ACAS server to support ST&E across systems connected to the lab networks.

  • Supporting hardware and software assembly, setup, configuration, network connectivity, IA Certification & Accreditation, physical access, and cybersecurity support for TBMCS test systems and related events.

  • Providing monthly systems cybersecurity vulnerability report to the NAOC2 Program Office.

  • Providing technical support to the generation of documentations to include TBMCS and C2AOS-C2IS integration reports, installation plans, and System Administration guides.

  • Providing engineering support to configure, modify, integrate and operate TBMCS, JADOCS, and CANES systems to include software installation, network configuration, and system administration.

  • Supporting system builds, backups and recovery of software on TBMCS systems.

  • Configuring Cisco switches and routers, Microsoft exchange servers

Ideal Candidate
  • BS degree in Engineering/IT or at least 4 years of additional relevant experience

  • At least 5 years of related experience and ability to perform tasks described above.

  • Security+ certification

  • Cybersecurity Work Force IAT II qualification in LINUX+ (preferred) or MS Windows OS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Secret Clearance

  • BA/BS and 5+ yrs of related experience
