Summary
Engility Corporation is seeking an experience administrative professional who performs secretarial and general office work in a technical environment. Key responsibilities include: composing routine correspondence and messages. Task administration, staffing packages, efficient and expeditious execution of the travel authorization practices within the DTS framework, and communicating with all levels of organization personnel to gather and convey information.
Responsibilities
* Draft and track organizational tasks and consolidate responses and submit * Compile deployment packages for personnel traveling OCONUS. * Process administrative requests and forms to include Public Release Requests, Conference hosting and attendance packages * Draft and edit new official correspondence * Staff, track and file official correspondence * Draft, review or edit and release official messages using Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) * Review, track and provide status of Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations and voucher submittals * Provide technical assistance with DTS * Prepare Organizational reports to include collection and reporting of programmatic data * Administer, manage and update SharePoint sites * Prepare, staff and track Command Staff Action Packages
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Tangible Qualifications:** * Associates Degree or additional two years of relevant experience. * Three years of applicable administrative experience. * Secret clearance * Must have a valid driver’s license * Organized and detail-oriented * Self-starting individual who can work both, independently and in a team-oriented environment * Must possess strong communications skills, both verbal and written * Proficient and skilled in Microsoft applications to include Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience supporting DoD acquisition preferred. * Experience with federal government administrative processes and policies. * Experience with Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) desired. * Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) desired. * Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) desired. * SharePoint Administration experience desired. * Knowledge and experience with Marine On Line (MOL) and MCSC VIPER is a plus.
