Summary
Provides support for and assists with the coordination, planning, development, and administration of technical activities, day-to-day operations and engineering-related items for tank projects located in the Mid Continent Region. Ensures safe and efficient execution of maintenance and construction programs, specifically those related to tank capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of tank capital projects including the development and implementation of projects from the budget proposal stage through contract administration, construction management, and cost control and reporting - Perform day-to-day capital project activities including the following: completion of various types of documentation (permits, reports, utility crossings, etc.); ensuring regulatory compliance; and reviewing Company standards and procedures - Participate in the Enbridge safety program by attending and participating in safety meetings, performing safety observations, and conducting regular safety inspections of constructions sites - Assist Maintenance Technicians on technical and compliance issues - Participate in community events and public official liaison programs - Provide 24-hour emergency and operations call-out support - Coordinates tank inspection staff and third-party contractors - Actively participates in regulatory audits
Ideal Candidate
* A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and five years of construction experience is preferred although equivalency in education and experience may be considered. * Candidate should have strong project management and contract administration skills relating to budget coordination, management, contractor oversight, and inspection. * A high degree of personal initiative is required. * An API 653 certification is preferred. - Salary and job level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. - Share our core values of Integrity, Safety and Respect.
