Summary
The Primary focus of this position is to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all loading and unloading facilities and shipping locations.
Responsibilities
* Performs all job functions within the Safety and Environmental policies of Enbridge (US) and Governmental laws and orders. * Actively participates in the Safety program which includes regular scheduled safety meetings and training up to and including the participation in the investigation and documentation of incidents and accidents involving company and contract personnel. * When applicable must work within the jurisdiction of, be certified under and maintain files pertaining to Process Safety Management. * Perform inspections, complete documentation and maintain files for all operational functions required by governmental agencies and company policies, which would include but not be limited to tank and facility inspection and documentation of, and annual notification program. Assist with company or governmental agency audits of the assets. * Performs operations, inspection, maintenance and documentation of, lact units, and tanks. Determine root cause of any major or repeated failures, even if outside assistance is needed. * Ensure crude oil and liquid quality are within facility and/or contract specifications. * Assist team in scheduling maintenance of equipment and supplies to ensure minimum downtime and efficient job completion. * Participates in the budget process and is responsible for the month-to-month variance of expenditures. * Assist in the strategic planning process and prepare timely reports as needed, monthly and annual inspection. Daily, monthly inventory reports. Monthly and annual inspection reports. * Responsible for good housekeeping. * When needed, performs other Tasks, Duties and Roles as directed by System Supervisors and/or Plant Supervisor.
Ideal Candidate
* Has successfully completed the Enbridge Apprenticeship program; or * Has a minimum of one year experience in an operations role in the gas or a related industry; or * Has completed an Associates of Applied Science and has minimal experience.
