Operations and Automation Technician

The primary focus of this position is to maintain all electrical and instrumentation equipment at the processing facility to ensure efficient and safe operations. This individual will also work with operators loading and unloading trucks and railcars along with learning plant processes.

* Implements safe work practices with a proactive safety attitude while ensuring the safety for the employee, the public, the environment, and the equipment at all times. * Provides technical knowledge and decision-making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical, instrument, pneumatic, and control systems. * Responsible for ensuring all shutdowns, control, transmitters, recorders, chromatographs, analyzers, and measurements at the facility are calibrated and functioning properly. * Assists in servicing the re-compressors, expander, plant compressors, and associated equipment. * Orders necessary material to ensure normal operations. * Gives advice and guidance to contract labor on special projects. * This individual must be able to work on radio, satellite, and network communications. * Loads and unloads trucks and railcars. Hooks and unhooks hoses. Learn how to operate the odorant injection system. * Performs operations, inspection and maintenance and documentation of process equipment at the facility.

* Has successfully completed the Enbridge Apprenticeship program; or * Has a minimum of one year experience in an operations role in the gas or a related industry; or * Has completed an Associates of Applied Science and has minimal experience. * Salary and job level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. * Share our core values of Integrity, Safety and Respect.
