Summary
Responsible for coordinating maintenance activities; mechanical and electrical. Coordinate all maintenance activities with the Operation Coordinator and local technicians. Responsible for maintenance tech training in the Key area. Ensure all regulatory compliance is achieved i.e. OSHA, DEQ, DOT, OCC etc... Responsible for maintaining all electrical and mechanical aspects of the pipeline system with intent to minimize throughput losses due to malfunctioning equipment or other means within the Technician’s control. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in a timely fashion with little or no interruption to service. Support Regional Objectives and personnel in a professional manner with emphasis on budgetary requirements and efficient application of resources. Provide on-call emergency response support as required.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Company policy and provisions and ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner. - Ensure all regulatory tasks are performed on time and the proper documentation is completed and filed. - Ensure Regional Objectives are kept in the fore front of day to day operations i.e. safety, budget, integrity of the system. - Maximize pipeline operating efficiency by performing and documenting (Maximo) preventative and repair maintenance on pipeline equipment as required by Enbridge maintenance plans and O&MP manuals. - Remain flexible to the ever-changing environment which governs and alters pipeline operations. - Work directly with internal/external resources including customers for planning, engineering and budgeting efforts intended to increase operational efficiency. - Provide project inspection, and operational oversight and assistance as necessary to ensure operational excellence.
Ideal Candidate
- Technical or vocational education - Minimum of 10 years experience in operations or maintenance of crude oil pipeline, pump station or delivery facilities or related experience. - Familiarity with pertinent equipment (pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, programmable logic controls, motor control centers and instrumentation). - Mechanical and electrical trouble shooting ability. - Must have a valid driver’s license & good driving record.
