Summary
The Automation Supervisor position provides the design, implementation and support for field and plant control systems and communication interface SCADA applications within Enbridge pipelines to insure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
* Work directly with Automation Technicians and SCADA technicians. * Provide supervision, direction, and mentoring of control/automation staff. * Creation of control system standards and documentation including architecture, applications, hardware and software * Assist in due diligence of control systems evaluation of potential acquisitions. * Directs on-call support for control systems. * Supervises design, construction and installation of compressor control systems. * Supervises design, construction and installation of gas plant control systems. * Configures PLC’s and assist in troubleshooting existing programs. * Monitor the condition of equipment and predict timing of maintenance. * Administers and maintains existing control system and improvements caused by expansion and improvements. * Make recommendations and implement solutions for units that require analysis. * Advises Team members and participates in special projects as needed. * Reviews schematics and P&ID’s with customers to implement improvements in control methods.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * Degree in Electronics or Industrial Technology and a minimum seven years’ experience required OR ten plus years of previous field operations experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience. * PLC ladder logic programming expertise. * Thorough understanding of IEC1131, Wonderware or other HMI software and control logic. **Other Information:** * Work without supervision and have strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills. * Available 24/7 for emergency situations. * This position requires exposure to outside weather conditions, some strenuous physical demands, and on-call situations. * Select candidate must reside within 65 miles of operating area.

Referral Bonus Program Reward Amount (if eligible): $500.00. Salary and job level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
