Responsibilities
**Responsibilities:** - Responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of government contract technology product implementations - Establish project scope, requirements definition, and solutions architecture to create the Project Plan - Orchestrate the development of functional and technical requirements - Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and functional group members to align objectives, resources and expectations - Conducts regular, periodic, project management status meetings to apprise all stakeholders of project progress, issues, challenges, risks, and project management activities - Effectively uses project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Power Point and Vision. - Manage the requirements change request process to ensure minimal scope extension - Perform program completion assessment including customer feedback, lessons learned and financial/performance review
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** Education and/or Experience: - BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related field, MBA a plus - 4-6 years technical and project management experience with some consulting experience Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Requires excellent conceptual, analytical, decision-making and planning skills, and the ability to manage in a highly diversified, changing environment enforcing shared responsibility for outcomes - Ability to own and direct complex initiatives in a government contract environment - Ability to establish sound relationships with business and functional group members to align objectives, resources and expectations - Strong implementation skills and project management track record - Proven capability to work closely with stakeholders to control budgets, project delivery, priorities review, and client expectations - Possesses an in-depth understanding and the ability to implement formal software development lifecycle methodologies - Proven capability to work closely with stakeholders to control budgets, project delivery, priorities review, and client expectations - Strong written and oral communication skills, team development and coaching skills, and personal leadership characteristics Non-essential skills and experience: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus - Current security clearance a plus - Agile experience - Government contract experience a plus US citizenship and successful completion of government background investigation is required.
