Summary
As Content Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping to shape Ellucian’s first Content Marketing Program. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager will possess outstanding writing skills, and the ability to develop and curate content that supports the company’s marketing, communications and brand building initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant, compelling and valuable content that meets the needs of all personas and audiences * Create thought leadership content with the help of subject matter experts each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include web pages, case studies, testimonials, ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, video, social, etc.). * Manage a corporate blog and content calendar * Devise a develop a regular customer newsletter with both created and curated content
Ideal Candidate
**Key Qualities:** * Outstanding editing, writing and content development skills * Excellent verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and actively contribute to multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects * Strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing * Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas * A passion for new technology tools- social DNA a plus * Comfortable collaborating and working within a highly matrixed environment of marketers, creatives, and thought leaders * An inquisitive, creative mind and the willingness to challenge the status quo and suggest new methods or messages **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field * 5 years B2B marketing communications experience, preferably in technology or higher education * A proven track record in developing highly effective B2B content * Basic technical understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, web publishing, Flash, etc. is a plus * Fluency in web analytics tools, social media marketing applications and leading social media monitoring platforms
