Custom Solutions Consultant

The Custom Solutions Consultant interfaces with prospective and current customers, working to understand the client’s key business objectives, IT initiatives, and technical requirements, and providing resulting guidance in accordance with industry and company best-practices. The Custom Solutions Consultant is a critical interface across multiple internal departments as they work to ensure that we exceed customer expectations for implementation deliverables and deployment timelines. The candidate will possess a breadth of experience and knowledge which spans enterprise business applications, solutions systems design, and supporting platform technologies. This individual must work equally effectively with both clients and internal business units to ensure that customer satisfaction goals are met.

* Supporting the development of a sales strategy for each account particularly as it relates to consulting opportunities with direct customers and third-party integrators. * Function as a subject matter expert for the Encompass SDK and APIs * Ability to apply “out of the box” strategies as an Encompass product expert in concert with custom solutions. * Provide sales support for the positioning and quoting of custom development services. * Gather necessary requirements and specifications needed to create technical Statements of Work for Professional Services engagements. * Design and architect custom solutions * Consult with clients and third-party vendors for clear definition of requirements * Use case definition for custom solutions

* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or and Experience (Degree strongly preferred) * 5-7 years mortgage industry experience * 5+ years of software development experience * Experience working with XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, SQL, .NET, Java * Experience in third-party and back-office integrations. * Experience with Big 5 Consulting firms a plus * Full stack development experience * Encompass Experience (preferred) * Professional written and oral communication skills to relate to business and technical users. * Ability to translate technical instructions or concepts into non-technical easy to understand terms. * Team-oriented, demonstrates a professional and cooperative attitude.
