Summary
The Postdoctoral Researcher will be a key member of our multidisciplinary Imaging Sciences team, working on the application of multimodal imaging approaches in support of Avid’s clinical development programs. This role will provide technical and scientific expertise for the analysis, interpretation, and performance evaluation of structural, molecular, and functional biomarkers of neurodegenerative disease.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deploy innovative image analysis and database tools to support clinical development of diagnostic imaging agents * Design or employ novel methods to integrate structural and functional MRI information with PET data * Collaborate with Lilly and internal cross-functional project teams in support of Avid’s goals * Ensure consistent use of study tools and training materials * Maintain compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * Ph.D. degree * Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position **Additional Skills/Preferences** * Recent Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering, Neuroscience, or related field * Knowledge of PET or MRI imaging techniques and procedures * Practical experience with MATLAB as a prototyping tool for image analysis * Proficiency in neuroimaging software packages (FreeSurfer, FSL, SPM, CONN) is highly desirable * Prior experience in clinical development environments * Demonstrated ability to work independently in a highly focused manner * Proven analytical and critical thinking skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be willing and able to travel within the USA and worldwide 0-10% of time.
