Summary
We’re seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our small team of talented folks located in Redwood Shores. The ideal candidate comes with the understanding that a world-class user interface is a fundamental part of bringing amazing experiences to our players and grasps the challenges and opportunities that are part of creating dynamic, reactive, and appealing UI/UX for mobile games. The UI/UX Designer will play a key role within one of the world’s most popular gaming franchises. We’re pushing the boundaries on every front so you’ll get a chance to stretch beyond your comfort zone and have the ability to learn while you contribute. Responsibilities
* Partner with production and design to understand the goals of each aspect of in-game UI. * Create wireframes, flows, mockups, and animatics to build the interface/experience inside of Unity. * Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement the in-game UI. * Create a wide variety of UI elements, including icons, dialogs, HUD, UI animation, and visual effects. * Work within an established style; strive to raise the quality bar within that style.
Ideal Candidate
* A passion for playing and making great games! * Experienced/comfortable working directly in Unity/NGUI to take UI elements to completion. * UX/UI experience on successful mobile titles. * Proficient/expert-level understanding of Photoshop/Illustrator tools + workflows. * Strong understanding of UX fundamentals/concepts. * Highly effective communicator and collaborator within a small team environment. * Experienced in all phases of UI development, visual and technical. * Bachelor’s degree preferred.
