Summary
Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in providing budgeting, forecasting and financial support and analysis for EA’s corporate cost centers – including Facilities, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Executive Management. This position will be part of a team that provides timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis across the corporate executive team. In addition, this position will help budgeting and forecasting of expenses, headcount and capital, as well as provide support to corporate business partners.
Responsibilities
* Business Partnering * Become a partner to HR and Facilities budget owners; regularly interface with business partners to obtain and exchange information; deliver value by helping them make sound business decisions * Support continued improvement to financial processes and tools * Applies company and finance policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues * Financial Reporting * Assist with the delivery of standard and smart reporting across the organization * Contribute to annual financial plans and monthly forecasts * Provide financial support to business partners including forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting * Maintain headcount plans, forecast and actuals * Support forecast and analysis of related project capital expenditures against Plan * Financial Modeling * Update dynamic financial models * Use Excel and other tool-based models to analyze financial data and to identify and report historical trends and forecasts * Monthly and Quarterly Close * Prepare accruals, reclasses and other journal entries * Work on ad-hoc projects
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required * 1-3 years of relevant work experience (financial planning and analysis) * Has basic knowledge of P&L; and other financial statements * Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix team and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong analytical and technical skills
