* Possessing and demonstrating clinical knowledge and skills appropriate for the care of the Emergency Department patient * Using the nursing process to plan, direct and coordinate care for a safe patient experience often involving multiple interventions and conscious sedation * Communicating with patient, family, physicians and ancillary departments * Contributing to department budget by cost effective use of time and supplies

**Education:** * BSN or must be enrolled in a BSN program within one year of hire and complete program within five years of hire. **Licensure/Certification:** * California RN Licensure, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
